Easy Application

  • We suggest wearing the support over your "underwear" rather than directly against the skin. Cotton or new "wicking" fabrics work best.
  • Position the BackWonder with the center of the cinch straps centered on your back. You'll note that the buckle will then be offset to one side.
  • Now position LOW, so that the belt is BELOW your hip bones.
  • With the belt properly positioned, thread the end of the belt through the metal buckle and pull for a snug fit. Locks firmly in place with Velcro.
  • Now reach back and grab each "cinch strap" by the webbing at its' end and pull firmly, again, securing with Velcro.
  • Move around a little to make sure it feels secure and comfortable. Sit down to make sure the belt is comfortable and does not cut into your thighs.


  • Most often this device is used as an integral part of a treatment program designed and supervised by a physical therapist or other healthcare provider.
  • If you are self-managing your condition and you do not improve, or get worse, we suggest you discontinue the use of the device and seek medical attention.
  • Pregnancy - this device is not designed to accommodate pregnancy. If you are pregnant don't use it. Rather, we suggest supports specifically designed for pregnancy which you can see at SelfCareCentral.com.
  • Do not use if you suffer from inflammatory disease such as Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Care Instructions

Hand wash with cold water and a mild detergent. Lay flat on toweling and allow to air dry.
